Variants

With this USB3 industrial camera, you benefit from a huge selection of housing variants - you can choose both board-level cameras with different mount options and models with a completely closed housing. The sensor chosen here is the Sony IMX422. The 1/1.8" Global Shutter sensor delivers 195 fps and is part of the 4.5 series (Sony Pregius third generation). This indicates that the pixel size is 4.50 µm and ensures high sensitivity.

The U3-31C0SE Rev.1.2 with the 2.04 MPix sensor (1632 x 1248 px) is also characterised by high quantum efficiency. The wide dynamic range ensures that both bright and dark areas in the image can be captured in detail. This benefits machine vision applications in production and quality assurance, for example.

Thanks to its USB3 vision interface, the industrial camera is uncompromisingly compliant to the Vision Standard and can therefore be conveniently used with our IDS peak SDK.

The uEye+ SE camera is available as a monochrome or colour version.

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Object tracking

Whether in sports, on the production line or in research projects - IDS cameras keep a close eye on objects.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Biotechnology and life sciences

Image processing can be used, for example, to analyse living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.
