"Reconnect for everyone!" - IDS peak Update 2.10
Unique security feature is now available for all uEye / uEye+ cameras
Some camera features will hopefully never be used. But how quickly voltage problems, power failures or cable problems can lead to a disconnection or reboot of the application camera.
It's helpful if the camera restarts seamlessly after such an event, retains all preset settings and behaves as if nothing had happened - fully automatically. We call this function "auto reconnect".
Even if the vision standard does not define this behaviour, IDS customers benefit from this additional security! The "auto reconnect" ensures that your application can continue to use the IDS cameras in all scenarios without any problems and without you having to programme them.
As we have integrated the function into the transport protocols, this unique security is now also available for uEye and uEye+ cameras with GigE Vision and USB3 Vision in third-party applications.
